We went to Gulfport and helped LIFE put on a softball clinic at Hansboro Community Center on September 17th. We had 7 participants in the clinic. Most of these folks had never played before and were really excited about the opportunity to play wheelchair softball. It was a fun day of throwing, fielding and batting.

We had a great benefit game at Hillcrest Christian School on September 13th. We played the coaches and had some testimonies given. One of the best things of the night was that we met an 8 year old boy in a wheelchair that had never witnessed anything like the program we put on. He was very excited about the possibility of playing wheelchair sports which made us more excited about what we do!!

8/27/2011 Paralympic Experience (Wheelchair basketball, wheelchair softball, wheelchair power lifting and Boccie ball)

MACE was invited to New Orland’s by the Paralympic club of Louisiana to be taught by Paul Sheltie a USA wheelchair basketball Paralympic star. He taught over 40 participants and then MACE played a short exhibition against the Rollin Rhinos of New Orland’s. After the exhibition we watched and learned about wheelchair power lifting, Boccie ball, and softball.  This was a great event and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to all our supports for helping MACE to take our clients to this once in a life time event.
