When I purchase books onilne, I skim through some of the reviews, but it's the excerpts and blurbs that get my attention. I like some first person POV when the story is written like it's from the journal of the hero and heroine. I don't have a problem with someone being torn between two loves, It's actually happened to me. I guess reading how another person got through it to finally figure out which one was the one for them, helped me get through my own struggle.

The cost varies dnnipdeeg on where you live but Yahoo also has a yellow pages service that will allow you to hunt phone numbers and adresses to local businesses like that. That way you can call and compare prices. The best non-lethal weapons anyone can carry are their hands. WIth the right training and practice a potential victim can stop any threat short of a gun. And if the agressor is carrying a gun then nothing SHORT of a stun gun would be any help at all. Also, a stun gun is usually no help because it takes too much time to remove it and point it and fire it, the attack can be accomplished in that time. The best defense, really, is just awareness. Get them into a good self defence class, sometimes the police offer them for a fee. Teach them what situations are inherently NOT SAFE.

Has anyone behled Martin Kemp's fit on a final picture? It has a 2cm rip on a top arm and one symbol of a 4 buttons on a slap is blank . . . we wish this is not a reason he had to go into a residence to make a bit of income !

Back in the old days, when there were book stores with aucatl romance aisles, I never read reviews. Stood in the store for hours, reading blurbs and maybe even the first chapter. So many great new authors were impulse buys. Now, I will look at reviews, but I tend to also visit an author's website. I do pay attention to low reviews for the same reasons as mentioned above, my pet peeves. I also dislike 1st person POV, generally want a HEA, can't stand TSTL women. But my deal breaker is: I'm in love with 2 people and can't choose. I absolutely can't read a book where the (most times) heroine thinks she is in love with 2 men at the same time. I'm not talking sexual menages, although I'm not really a fan of them even though I like my romance steamy. I mean love, not lust. I know there are some great, well written, popular series out right now with this plot line and folks love them, but it is so emotionally foreign to me, I just can't read the book.

Such a lovely story about ruhabrb, Kate! Like you I have a lifelong love for ruhabrb although I never ate the stems raw dipped in sugar. I'm having ruhabrb tonight for desert, cooked in a bit of fresh orange juice with a stick of cinnamon and some brown sugar. Yummy! Your ruhabrb looks great, it's clear that it likes being in your garden. It's wonderful to read that you will be starting a veg garden next year, it's really great news and I'm sure you will love growing your own veggies and fruit, just as I do.
